Mission
DigiFidgets is here to provide a simple kit to bring motion to your 3D printed figures, desktop distractions and automotive animations and bring joy and amusement to your day. We believe makers and creators will have many great ideas for Fidgets, and the rapid-prototyping nature of 3D printing allows for new ideas and customization to come to life quickly. We're simply providing the kit to enable those ideas to be realized in a cost-effective way. We even share the lessons we've learned while designing our own Fidgets so that you can apply them to your own designs.
Our Story
Years ago, Todd Bailey was on a business trip and saw similar moving figures for sale in Japan and bought a few because they amused him. Over the years, he continued to enjoy them, and they reminded him when life is challenging to just keep going, just like they do.
Our goal is to bring a bit of joy to the rest of the world and help the 3D printing community develop all kinds of custom Fidgets of their own. If dancing figures can make the world just 1% happier, it would be a worthy accomplishment.
Company info
DigiFidgets LLC was founded in 2025 in Aurora, Colorado to reverse-engineer the currently available, mass-produced solar-powered figures and develop similar electrical circuit kits to animate 3D printed figures. We filed for a patent for this technology in July of 2026.
Since then, we have developed several prototype Fidgets using our circuit and plan to develop many more, both internally and through third-party designers. Our business model is based on selling our circuit kits at a reasonable price, allowing makers, hobbyists and students to download, print, assemble and enjoy or sell their own Fidgets using our patent-pending kit.
